Tbilisi

Arrive in the capital, walk the old town, first supra dinner in a courtyard house.

Day 2

Ananuri & the pass

Drive north along the reservoir, fortress stop, up over the Jvari pass to Stepantsminda.

Day 3

Gergeti ridge

Sunrise walk to Gergeti Trinity Church, afternoon free in the village, khinkali by the river.

Day 4

Truso valley

A full day on foot in the Truso gorge — travertine springs, abandoned towers, lunch on the meadow.

Days 5-8

Dariali & the villages

The Dariali gorge and the border viewpoint, a day with a Khevi family, and the trail toward Kazbek's weather station.

Days 9-12

Slow days & farewell

Mtskheta and the Jvari monastery on the way back, two free days in Tbilisi, farewell dinner and departures.
